WBE Electrical Division was the prime contractor for the PG&E Ukiah service center project that consisted of full site electrical and gas service upgrades and modifying the electrical distribution to allow for full site backup generator power.
We installed a new 600amp service switchboard with a 600amp Automatic transfer switch, (2) new 600amp distribution switchboards, a new 300kw natural gas stand-by generator and a 600amp generator switchboard equipped with load bank and portable generator hookups.
The project also involved all new feeders throughout the yard from the new distribution switchboards to all the buildings. WBE Traffic was the underground subcontractor on the project tasked with all the directional boring & housekeeping pads stub ups. In addition to the electrical distribution modifications, WBE & subs also took on the natural gas lines and connections to the new generator and the natural gas service upgrade to the site.
