PROJECT DETAILS
UC Davis 48X
Sacramento, CA
W. Bradley Electric’s Telcom division executed the low-voltage cabling infrastructure for the UC Davis 48X Project, including Category 6A and fiber optic backbone installations to support data, life safety, security, and real-time location systems. Key contributions included structured cabling for 17 OR Integration Rooms, 12 IDF rooms, and OSP backbone connections, along with seismic and BIM modeling for critical spaces. Telcom also installed cabling and equipment for sound masking, PA speakers, nurse call clock systems, DAS (ERRCS and cellular), security cameras, and intercoms. They ensured system commissioning, supervised subcontractors, and maintained an accelerated schedule while serving as the project’s single point of contact.
WBE’s AV division installed and tested audiovisual systems, including speakers and displays for the PA and Qmatic systems, CATV infrastructure, and complete AV setups for internal conference rooms. Collaborating with Telecom, they supported speaker rough-ins and finalized system connections, ensuring high-quality AV integration across the project.
